This is the latest flashback episode of the syndicated FuseBox Radio Broadcast with DJ Fusion & Jon Judah (aka Ausar Ra Black Hawk) for the week of December 31, 2014 (originally broadcast on the week of February 2, 2011; we're currently on Christmas/New Year's Vacation here in the States) with some new and classic Hip-Hop & Soul Music, news and commentary.

Our commentary during that week's show focused on updates with the internet- & street-based political protests/revolutions occurring in Egypt, the possible return on of ex-president Jean-Bertrand Aristede to Haiti, DJ Kool Herc's recent illness & the need for Health Care in more ways than one with musicians, the National Black Theater in Harlem & it's current debt issues and some more diverse topics here and there.

We also had a great interview with Hip-Hop Legend Kool G Rap (http://twitter.com/TheRealKoolGRap).

Our commentary during that week focused on the impact on public funeral service, recent media coverage and lessons that could be learned from the passing of music legend Michael Jackson (R.I.P.), the utter lack of media coverage of the arrest of a non-profit humanitarian organization members (including former Congresswoman Cynthia McKinney) during a humanitarian mission to Gaza by the Israeli government during the 4th of July weekend and some other things here and there.

This week we do have new Black Agenda Report segment. The Direct EFX segments will return at the end of the HBCU's college summer break period in September.

Our extended commentary this week (it takes up the 1st half of the radio show; stops at about 1 hour & 25 minutes in) touched base on the travesty of the grand jury's verdict in Ferguson, MO with the killing of Michael Brown & it's after effects (the very tilted mainstream media coverage here in the States post-verdict, racists & respectability politics folks coming out from multiple angles, how it has resparked activism all over the U.S. and more), the new & old charges of sexual assault against actor Bill Cosby, some quick pop culture news items of interest (including Marvel Comics dropping a "Black Panther" movie in the upcoming future) and some other things here & there.
