This is a special episode based off of the audio from the great DC PodFest panel on diversity in podcasting, ("Not All Podcasters Are White") that occurred at the Wonderbread Factory in Washington, DC on Saturday, November 5, 2016 featuring DJ Fusion (FuseBox Radio Broadcast; http://www.FuseBoxRadio.com), Phenomblak (Where's My 40 Acres; http://WheresMy40Acres.com), Chelsea (Tagg Nation; http://www.TaggNation.com) & Big Baba Rob (The Black Geeks; http://TheBlackGeeks.com) talking candidly about their experiences as Podcasters of Color on multiple fronts (folks' trying to put what you talk about on your show in a box from the outside community and sometimes your own in the realms of race, class, sexuality, etc., how everyone got started with podcasting, the hustle one has to be on to be a quality indie media outlet at large, what IS diversity honestly and more).

Our commentary this week touched base on quite a lot since the last time we were able to talk, including upcoming FuseBox Radio events folks have & will be in the mix at, DJ Fusion's review of some in-depth visits she made to the new the Smithsonian National Museum of African American History and Culture, how the current Presidential Election cycle here in the States is complete trash & exhausting, the protests at Standing Rock against the pipeline being built there (#NoDAPL), a completely off topic talk about relationships, mini-reviews of recent comic books ("The Black Monday Murders"), movies (The Black Hawk saw "Birth of A Nation" & DJ Fusion saw "Queen of Katwe") & TV ("Luke Cage", "Insecure", "Atlanta", etc.) folks have checked out lately and some other stuff here and there. There is no brand new Black Agenda Report news mini-segment on this week's episode due to our extended commentary.

Our extended commentary for that week's episode during our 1st show of 2015 (it takes up about the 1st hour & 19 minutes of the radio show) touched base on how the tragedies in Nigeria (via Boko Haram) & France (via the Charlie Hebdo journalist massacre) were covered by the U.S. mainstream media, Dr. Ben Carson acting up again, Florida police using mugshots of Black male prisoners for target practice, how Run The Jewels is just constantly winning as an indie Hip-Hop crew of folks in their 30s, why are this year's #OscarsSoWhite yet again and why it shouldn't be a surprise, our opposing views of the quality of the Hip-Hop/Music Industry soap opera "Empire" on FOX, Zulu Nation's current expansion with various MCs (including Lil' Wayne) and what it could mean for the Hip-Hop organization's future and some other things here and there. There was no new new Black Agenda Report segment on this week's show due to our extended commentary.
