Please pray for the children that died or badly injured from Humanity Healing's "THE UGANDA PROJECT"

Hello my friends,
We just learned from our friends in Africa that there was a horrible bus accident and many of the children of this project (Humanity Healing is sponsoring) died or got badly injured. The report says that at least 24 of them died on the spot.

sympathy Pictures, Images and Photos

This time I do not know what to say, I guess The Lord called them home...

Please say a silent prayer for those that passed for the eternal light to shine upon them and send the healing light energy for those that are still here, enduring another phase in such hard lives...

"Lord pray for us who have recourse to thee"

There is no need to reply to this post.
In deep gratitude for all that is, and for all your healing light at this sad moment for all of us,

With love,
*RAK* and Humanity Healing Family

FuseBox Radio Broadcast for Week of May 13, 2009

Direct mp3 Download (right click and "save as")

Direct mp3 Download Backup (right click and "save as"; via Blip.TV)

This is the latest episode of the syndicated FuseBox Radio Broadcast with DJ Fusion & Jon Judah for the week of May 13, 2009 with some new and classic Hip-Hop & Soul Music, news and commentary.

This week's commentary focused on the absurd bill that Rep. John Conyers (Democrat - Michagan) is trying to pass through the U.S. Congress called HR848, that if it passes, will have various NEW music costs are passed on to all sorts of FM radio station owners, with the high possibility that great deal of Black-owned Radio Stations (and just regular radio station period) to shut down due to various economic issues.

We talked about the potential impact this could have culturally in the U.S. for not just the Black Community, but for the music community at large from music artists, to listeners and others.

We also had a great interview with independent Hip-Hop MC, producer, graphic artist & activist Ravage the MeccaGodzilla (http://www.ravagenrumble.com).

We covered everything from Ravage's influences, being one of the founders of G.A.ME (the Grassroots Artists MovEment) in NYC, his history with the music industry from being a member of the supercollective Monsta Island Czars (MF Doom, MF Grimm, etc.) and beyond, Ravage's vision of the growth of Hip-Hop & where it needs to go, his latest album project (the "Erroars" production LP) & upcoming music situation, the international scene and more!

We do have a new Black Agenda Report segment but no new Direct EFX segment this week.

Independent and Unsigned Rap and R&B Artists Radio Show showcasing the South and other coasts

The voice of independent and unsigned rap and r&b artists from the south and other coasts have mainly for years have became silence to the masses until now coming to you long overdue introducing The "Southern Exposure" show with DJ PoltergeistSouth and Cool V bringing you stuff and thangs u never heard before Listen because it will blow your speakers off.

Radio Trying to survive across the nation

For years now Radio especially Black Radio has been killing itself because it feels like Independent and Unsigned Rap and R&B artists aren't marketable because they don't have major backing of an major entity which for me as an supporter of Independent and Unsigned Rap and R&B Artists that is unacceptable for me to accept because what really ticks me and pisses me the f*** off is the fact that these radio stations who are locally black owned by our own. Will not if we are struggling artists give us the time of the day to receive airplay on their radio stations who are owned by these black entrepreneurs who we look up to . I say F*** them and S**** them because we will survive they won't

Hip Hop Nation by Channel Live

Essence of anythang is the fact that it must have a following of individuals who love what they are trying to do. Channel Live with the song "Hip Hop Nation" is doing just that trying to bring the essence of hip hop and rap back to the way it was before kaos destroyed it and its trying to bring it to its knees to where it can be eliminated and extinct and gone from the earth completely. They respect everythang that we do in rap and hip hop but they have their own way to telling how they see thangs in the game as they are. In a way the industry or the game as I like to call it needs this because those who choose to write history are destined to repeat it.

TRIP is TRIPPIN'!!!

What I’m Trippin’ on…Vol. 1

Well ladies and germs, thanks for joining me, this is my blog. Be prepared to be upset, disgusted, and offended. I first wanna thank Cool V and the rest of the Trunk Hustlers, for thinking my thoughts need to be documented.

Alright, enough with the ass kissin’…

You wanna know what I’m trippin’ on?! Of course you do…You are HERE!

Hype. I hate it! I despise it! I Would like to take it out back and see who get’s dirty. It is a simple word. I mean, look at the definition.

hype (hp) Slang

1. Excessive publicity and the ensuing commotion: the hype surrounding new artist Drake

2. Exaggerated or extravagant claims made especially in advertising or promotional material: the best rapper alive, since the best rapper retired.

3. Something deliberately misleading; a deception: I know Noreaga, the real Noreaga.

You see where I am going here peeps?!

DBTH= Dont Believe The Hype

Don’t buy into it. Dont spend any of your energy on it. It is not real. Only if you make it, or let it, or feed it; will it become real.

I know that is difficult to imagine doing; especially being a hip hop lover, or a fan, or aficionado. We love this hip hop ish. Some of us live by it, die by it. Saying this, we also know, or should know, that most of it is not real. It use to be ALL real. NO ONE fabricated lyrics, or said stuff that didn’t happen or wasn’t true. If they did they were ousted, outta there, finito. No one supported them. No one payed them any mind. They didn’t have to have flashy clothes, or big booty girls, or ice/bling in the video. NONE of THAT! It was about the groove. The lyrics. The feeling. The message.

I ain’t gonna front. I love listening to that street shit from time to time. The smoking weed, sexual lyrics, the hardcore. So, I am just as guilty as the next man, woman, and child.

I’m just trying to say, don’t be mislead. Just because your local radio, or cable chanel, or perferred social networking site, or BLOGGER says that an artist or group is hot or dope or the next big thing (pause) THINK FOR YOURSELF.

DONT BELIEVE THE HYPE.
